Bed, linens, towels first class, at least in room 301. Location for theaters and restaurants is perfect. Free parking!
This is basically an old, funky SF downtown motel. But location is everything.

The service was good, the food was good! Moreover, free parking was great. The hotel was just next door to Stack's restaurant and downtown San Francisco by bus.

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of the Big Bus hop-on, hop-off tour stops, making it convenient for exploring the city. It is also close to many restaurants and just a 5-minute walk from city hall. The room was nice-sized with a big closet and the bed was big and comfortable. The housekeeping staff was remarkable and the room was cleaned in a timely manner each day. The hotel also offers a standard continental breakfast, which was a nice bonus.
The fridge in the room was quite small.

Perfect hotel, recently upgraded and good-sized room. The marvellous and unbeatable location for the price, close to China Town for silk scarves as well as main attractions. For shots visit Fig & Thistle Wine Bar, nestled within 10 minutes' walk of the property.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. The breakfast was basic, but complete and good. The hotel staff tried to provide us with everything we needed during our stay.
hotel is close to downtown San Francisco and center is full of homeless people, many of them with serious mental health and drug addiction problems. truth is that it's not very pleasant to walk around in that area and you have a great feeling of insecurity: there are people lying on the sidewalks, people using crack in the middle of the street at any time of the day, people talking to themselves... In fact, my husband was attacked by a mentally ill man on a public bus first thing in the morning, with a bus full of people. It's a shame because San Francisco is a very beautiful city but it's very dangerous. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, really: it's the most unsafe city I've ever been in.

We got great value for our money with a spacious room tucked away in the back. The location was perfect, within walking distance to upscale restaurants and shops, and the staff went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable.
The morning meal could be improved with more variety and options.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the downtown of SF. The staff was extremely friendly, and the room was bigger than I needed. The hotel is conveniently located just 5 minutes away from city hall, making it close to everything we needed. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities were modern and well-maintained. One of the best things was the free parking, which is unheard of in this city. We were able to easily walk to all the tourist attractions and had no trouble finding transportation. Additionally, the breakfast provided was a great way to start the day.
Absolutely nothing.
